New Music Review

instantly addicted!
this album is lush and flowing with all the emotion that female singer/song writers can muster. most all the song deal with lost love. in a great way. shes keeps her subject rather vague which is a great strong point. it leaves it open for a wide range of people to relate to whats shes saying. (ie. this album has me thinking more of my past drug addiction rather than past lovers). her voice is a bit shaky, but, i still like it. it adds a good deal of raw feeling to the lyrics. the music is lush and deep and full. id compare early tori amos with a bit more pop and a faster tempo mixed with the darkness alanis morissette had in her first two u.s.a. releases. its very unique and beautiful. if you like just anyone of the samples. get the cd. it will grow on you. 5 stars.
